Faced with the environmental emergency in Burkina Faso, the non-profit association SOS Energie Burkina, was created on 31/07/2008 by a group of partners wishing to make a concrete contribution to the fight against deforestation and poverty. Indeed, the use of wood as fuel contributes to 90% of the massive deforestation that is currently afflicting Burkina Faso. Based on this distressing observation and the need for economic vitality, our association s 's mission is to develop a green energy sector based on a community production model.
